Day 59: Homework, Packing

Today I worked on homework for about 10 hours then I went and mailed out a package of souvenirs to mike which I should not have done. For 8.5 pounds I had to pay 84$ to send it to mike. Then I went home and packed my check in bag and it was 72 pounds and if I have a second check in bag it will only be 55$. I were to just bite the bullet and keep it all in one bag it would be 100$. Now I have to go buy another check in bag and I will still have 10 pounds after I fill it. Then I had dinner and I am going to bed soon cause tomorrow I am going to Stonehenge and Bath. Yea!

Day 58:school work

Today I ran to school to pint out stuff and scan stuff in. I then went home had some dinner and a quick nap and started to work on my final projects again.

Day 57: homework and therapy drink

Today I got up at 9:00 AM and started on my homework for portfolio and Fashion trends I worked on all of it up until about 5:30. Everyone came back to the flat and so I and Rachel decided we were going to the Pub crawl for school well we needed to wait for Megan and by the time she got home from school, because some of the subway lines were down, it was too late to go to that. So we went and have a few drinks at Big Red a bar down the street, and then we came home I feel it was a very productive day

Day 56: School all day

This is one of the five mood
boards I have to have for my
project. This board incorporates
a trend that is called Hack-tavate
which is the process of taking
items that are not used anymore and
redesigning them into something
useful for today's market.

Today I woke up at 6:30AM to get to school. In my textiles class we critiqued our designs everyone really liked mine and so after that I worked on my design boards for my line and I talked to my teacher about my Portfolio final project. Then I went to my Forecasting class and we had a guest speaker which was very interesting she work's for a forecasting company here and went to a forecasting show in Florance Italy in January. She was very informative and it was a very insightful class we did a project where we made a color swatch out of swatches she had from shows which that alone was cool because she had so many. Then she looked at my knit ware garment and loved it. She also looked at my trend boards for my class and individual project and she really had insightful comments about them that I definitely took into consideration. Overall it was a pretty good day.

Day 55: Homework overtime

Today I mostly am trying to get all my final projects out of the way and start on writing my papers.

Day 54: Modeling take two

Today I went and modeled for a classmate for her final project in a CAD class which was really interesting because I used to model when I was younger so I did the same poses that I used to do when I was young, but I am not young any more so they were telling me to be sexy. It was definitely a enlightening experience. I also had to model with the photographers boyfriend which was peculiar a little because the photographer and the others kept telling me to look like I was in love. I was defiantly a fun day. After we did that I came back to the flat and rested because I was just getting to felling better today but it was raining and cold and I was in a dress with straps. then the girls who went to Scotland this weekend got back this evening and we talked about there trip. I am going to Stonehenge and Bath next weekend for a day which will be nice. Also it is the half way point through my entire trip!! Here are some pictures of where we were for modleing.

Day 53: Lazy day

Today I just lounged around and most of the girls were recuperating from last night so I read my book and watched movies! Tomorrow there is no school because of the Bank Holiday.
